RIEGER MACHINE PRICING POLICY

I have put much thought into how to handle the fluctuation in exchange rates between the Euro and the US Dollar, and believe I have come up with a way to do this that is fair to everyone. This new policy will only apply to the Rieger machines (Gouging, Profiling, Tip Profiling and Reed Winding Machines) and parts.

Our new policy will be to multiply the price of the machine or part (based on a 1 to 1 ratio between the Euro and the US Dollar) by the current exchange rate at the time of shipment to you to determine your cost. For example, if the dollar and the Euro were equal in value (1:1), the base price of a standard tip profiling machine would be $1139.00. If the Euro is worth more than the dollar, your cost will be higher. If the Euro is worth less than the dollar, your cost will be lower. This method will allow the cost to you to be proportional to our cost from Rieger.

At the time you place your order, I will charge your credit card the base price. After Rieger charges me for your machine (approximately 1 month after your order is placed) I will charge you the balance of the machine price plus shipping/handling. To determine the balance, the base price above will be multiplied by the exchange rate used when Rieger charges me for your machine(s), then I’ll subtract the amount already paid and charge you the remainder.
